SayVM has experts who have developed Point Detonating Post Impact Delay Fuze (PD/PID Fuze) for use with Artillery Guns. The PD PID Fuze has 3 modes of operation viz. safe, PD and PID. An external mode selection switch allows mode setting. Safe mode is used for transport. In PD mode, the Fuze detonates immediately on detection of impact. In PID mode, the Fuze detonates after a fixed delay after detection of impact. The internal electronics and mechanical parts are designed to survive extraordinary setback and spin forces generated on firing. The safety mechanism enables detonation only after certain setback force, spin force and safety distance.
