SayVM has experts who have developed Battery Monitoring System (BMS) for continuous, real-time monitoring of all critical parameters viz. cell voltage, electrolyte temperature, electrolyte level, charging and discharging current, etc. of lead-acid batteries. The BMS continuously measures and logs all these parameters at predefined interval of 30 seconds. The BMS also checks measured values against predefined limits to generate audio-visual alarms. By measuring charging and discharging currents, the BMS accurately estimates Residual Capacity of batteries in Kilo Ampere Hours and Endurance in Hours and Minutes. The BMS also flags sick cells based on cell voltage and electrolyte temperature. Periodic logging of all parameters and alarms allows generation of historical reports for event analysis. The BMS is designed for rugged, military environment.
